This Privacy Notice explains how AImoji - AI Stickers & Keyboard collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects information, and the choices and rights available to you. You may use many features without providing optional information. We request device permissions separately when a feature needs them. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before processing information for optional purposes, including personalized advertising, cross-app or cross-website tracking, optional cloud language-modeling features and uploading photos for AI processing. You may withdraw consent through the relevant device or in-app settings, or by contacting us, although withdrawing consent may limit the related feature. If you do not agree to this Privacy Notice, please do not use the Software and Services.
Where we refer to 'personal data' in this Privacy Notice, we mean any information that identifies or makes an individual identifiable.
About us
When we refer to Alef Network in this Privacy Notice, we mean Guangzhou Ziipin Network Co., Ltd., which is responsible for processing your personal data. Any request related to data privacy may be addressed to apps@ziipin.com.
We may choose or be required by law to provide different or additional disclosures relating to the processing of personal information about residents of certain countries, regions or states. Please refer below for disclosures that may be applicable to you
- If you are a resident of the State of California in the United States, please click here for additional California-specific privacy disclosures.
- If you are based in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), please click here for additional EEA-specific privacy disclosures.
We process information as necessary to provide, secure and improve the Software and Services, respond to your requests, comply with law and, where applicable, based on your consent for optional processing. Using the Software and Services alone does not constitute consent to every processing purpose. We will provide a separate choice where consent is required by applicable law.
App Store Connect Privacy Summary: In our current App Store Connect privacy disclosure, the data categories shown for this App are: Identifiers (Device ID); Usage Data (Advertising Data); and Diagnostics (Other Diagnostic Data and Crash Data). Device ID and Advertising Data are marked as potentially used for tracking. Depending on the purpose, identifiers and usage data may also be classified as not linked to you, while diagnostic data is classified as not linked to you. This summary does not replace the feature-specific disclosures below, which explain information processed when you request functions such as AI image creation, translation, feedback or Quick Paste.
1) Camera and Photos: In order to use some of the features of the Software and Services (including but not limited to customizing keyboard themes or DIY emoji and GIFs), you may voluntarily grant us permission to access the camera or photo library to select or take photos stored on your mobile device. If you use an AI sticker, emoji or skin feature, the selected photo may be written temporarily on your device and uploaded to our upload provider (currently Qiniu) and our AI processing service to generate the requested result. The original photo and generated result may be retained locally for the feature's history or other functionality. We do not use these photos for unrelated purposes without the applicable permission. You should avoid uploading photos containing information you do not want processed.
2) Technical Information: We may process technical information about your iOS device and use of the App, including device model, iOS and App versions, configuration and settings, IP address, network information, a random device identifier, advertising identifier where available and permitted, crash information and interactions with the Software and Services. We use this information to operate, secure, debug and improve the Services. The current iOS App does not request access to your Contacts or precise location.
3) Contact Information: We may also receive your personal contact information contained in correspondence via communications channels. This enables us to offer user support, beta testing communities, surveys, competitions and similar services.
4) Language Modeling Data: For users that separately opt in to an applicable Cloud feature, we may collect basic demographic information and information concerning the words and phrases that you use ('Language Modeling Data') to enable services such as personalization, prediction synchronization and backup. We may use data provided by you to develop and improve our product. Where a field has been flagged by a website or app as denoting a password field or payment information, our product does not log, store or learn from this information. You may encounter an alert when installing our product on your device, warning that third-party keyboards may collect or log sensitive data such as passwords, credit card numbers or street addresses. This alert is a general warning for all third-party Keyboard products. We do not operate the keyboard as a general-purpose keylogger and do not intentionally collect text entered into password or payment fields identified by the host app. However, no keyboard can guarantee that every host app correctly identifies such fields, so you should not enter sensitive information into optional keyboard features.
5) Full Access, Clipboard and Translation: The keyboard may require Apple's Full Access permission for network features. If you use translation, text that you enter, select or paste for translation may be sent to Google Translate to provide that translation. If you enable Quick Paste, the keyboard periodically checks the system clipboard and stores clipboard text locally on your device for quick access, currently up to 200 items and up to 50,000 characters per item. Quick Paste itself does not upload that local history to our servers, but using another feature such as translation may send selected clipboard text to the relevant provider. Do not use Quick Paste or translation with passwords, payment information, authentication codes or other sensitive content.
6) Analytics and Crash Information: Our own reporting systems and third-party analytics or crash-reporting services may receive information such as your random device identifier, app version, device and operating system information, network information, usage events and crash details. In App Store Connect, these are represented by Identifiers, Usage Data, Other Diagnostic Data and Crash Data, with diagnostic data marked as not linked to you. We use this information to operate, secure, measure and improve the Services.
7) Third Parties:
We may make third-party applications, such as extensions, available through the Services. The information collected by us when you enable a third-party application is processed under this Privacy Notice. Information collected by the third-party application provider is governed by their privacy policies.
Depending on the features you use, our service providers and third-party partners may include:
We will update this list when the relevant processing or providers materially change. Each provider may process information under its own privacy policy and service terms.
8) Account, Purchase, Push, Feedback and Service Analytics Information: We may collect and transmit a random device identifier, device model, operating-system version, app version, network information, channel or package information, usage events, crash information and advertising or push identifiers. If you use account or paid features, we may process your account ID, nickname, profile image, virtual currency or subscription status, order details and transaction information received from Apple. If you contact support, we may process your contact details, feedback, device information and screenshots. Some of these records may be queued or stored locally until they are uploaded or deleted. We use this information to provide the Services, verify purchases, send requested notifications, provide support, maintain security and measure and improve the Services.
We use your information for the following purposes: (1) to deliver and maintain the Software and Services, including improving their quality, functionality and operation; (2) to respond to your requests and provide customer support; and (3) to customize content and improve your experience.
If any new purposes for processing your information arise we will let you know before we start to process information for that other purpose by introducing the corresponding changes to this Privacy Notice.
Protecting your personal data and maintaining your trust is core to our mission. We do not intentionally sell your personal data for monetary consideration. We may disclose information to service providers and measurement or advertising partners as described in this Privacy Notice; under some privacy laws, certain advertising-related disclosures may be treated as sharing or a sale, and you may have a right to opt out. We use encryption for data transmitted through the secure connections that support our services, subject to the limitations of third-party services and network connections.
We constantly review and challenge the procedures we have in place for data handling and data security and have internal system and controls to ensure compliance.
We retain each category of information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the requested feature, maintaining security, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations and keeping appropriate business records. AI uploads and generated results may be retained by our servers or upload and AI providers for the period needed to complete the request and provide related history or functionality. Quick Paste history is stored locally, currently up to 200 items and 50,000 characters per item, until it is cleared through available feature controls or removed according to the operating system. Feedback, analytics, push-token, account and purchase records may be retained for support, service operation, security, accounting or legal purposes. Third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies and contracts. We delete or anonymize information when the applicable retention period ends, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
You may control the App's access to device information through your device's Settings. You may request access, correction, deletion or other applicable rights by emailing us at [apps@ziipin.com]. We may reasonably verify your identity. A deletion request may not remove information that must be retained for legal, security, transaction or dispute-resolution purposes, or copies held by third parties or recipients you chose to share with.
If you choose to share content from the App through a third-party service, the information you select may be provided to that service and will be governed by its privacy policy. We may share your personal information within the Alef Network or with the third parties described below.
We may share your personal information with:
a. The Alef Network . This includes other brands owned or controlled by Alef Network and other entities owned by or under common ownership as Alef Network, which also includes our subsidiaries (i.e., any entity we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns;
b. Service providers . This includes providers that perform services on our behalf, including image upload and AI processing, translation, analytics and crash reporting, push notifications, hosting, customer support, purchase verification and advertising measurement. The providers currently identified in this Privacy Notice may process information only for the relevant service or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and contract;
c. Future parties to the Alef Network. Other parties in connection with any company transaction, such as a merger, sale of all or a portion of company assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company or third party or in the event of bankruptcy or related or similar proceedings
d. Third parties as required to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoena/court order, legal process or other government request, (ii) enforce our Terms of Use Agreement, including the investigation of potential violations thereof, (iii) investigate and defend ourselves against any third party claims or allegations, (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Alef Network, its users or the public as required or permitted by law and (v) detect, prevent or otherwise address criminal (including fraud or stalking), security or technical issues.
International Transfers: Guangzhou Ziipin Network Co., Ltd. and the service providers described in this Privacy Notice may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including China and the United States. Where required by applicable law, we use an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards for international transfers. You may contact us at apps@ziipin.com for more information.
Where advertising or measurement features are enabled, we may use third-party services, including Meta, TikTok and Firebase services, to measure app performance, attribute installations or events, improve the Services and, where applicable, provide advertising. These providers may receive information such as a device or advertising identifier, IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, usage events and ad interactions, subject to the provider's settings and privacy policy. In App Store Connect, the relevant Device ID and Advertising Data are marked as potentially used for tracking, while the same data categories may also be disclosed for non-tracking purposes as described there.
We will request Apple's AppTrackingTransparency permission before using information for tracking you across other companies' apps or websites where that permission is required. If you do not grant permission, we will not use the IDFA for cross-app tracking. You may also control permissions and advertising settings in iOS Settings. These choices may not stop all contextual advertising or internal measurement.
We do not intentionally sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, disclosures to advertising or measurement partners may be considered “sharing” under applicable California law. You may request that we stop such sale or sharing by contacting us at [apps@ziipin.com].
If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of AImoji - AI Stickers & Keyboard or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution or liquidation), information from or about our users may be among the items sold or transferred.
However, this will not affect your rights or our obligations under this Privacy Notice.
If you have any questions or concerns with respect to any matter covered by this Privacy Notice, you may contact us by email at apps@ziipin.com. We may modify, update and publish this Privacy Notice in the Software from time to time.
Alef Network does not knowingly collect or solicit any information through the App from anyone under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under 13, please contact us at apps@ziipin.com.
Alef Network cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Depending on the feature and the applicable law, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
We may disclose personal data to service providers that support these purposes, including providers for file uploads, AI processing, translation, analytics, advertising measurement, push notifications, hosting and customer support. Some providers, including Qiniu, Google, Firebase, Meta and TikTok services, may process data outside the EEA. Where required, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. Please contact us for more information about the applicable safeguards.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, including service operation, support, security, accounting and legal obligations. Local Quick Paste history and local AI or feedback records remain on the device until cleared through available controls or removed according to the operating system. Server and provider retention may differ by service and contract. We delete or anonymize data when the applicable retention period ends, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time; this will not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
